TO GET AN IPTV CONNECTION  

DIFFERENT COMBO OFFERS OF SERVICES WITH IPTV ARE AVAILABLE: 

1.IPTV WITH BROADBAND CONNECTION AND LANDLINE
2.   IPTVONLY 

UNDER CATERGORY 1  ALL THAT IS REQUIRED AT CUSTOMER’S PREMISES  

(i)MTNL BROADBAND CONNECTION WITH MULTI PORT CPE /MODEM

(ii)A TV WITH AUDIO-VIDEO /S-3 pin Connector

Regarding clause(i):  If MTNL has supplied CPE for your broadband connection then MTNL will change it free Of cost. However, in case of CPE provided by customer himself, he has to arrange the CPE with one free ethernet port and provision of QOS parameters.

Regarding clause(ii): If required ports are not available Customer has to make sure that TV at his end  should have latest pin configuration for Audio Video or S- Video. In Case it is not available, customer has to provide BNC connector/AV converter Etc. For further assistance please contact Aksh call centre (12699/26990009) .Power Point is required near the TV Set and preferably with on/off switch so That Set Top Box can be switched off when not in use.

UNDER CATERGORY 2 ALL THAT IS REQUIRED AT CUSTOMER’S PREMISES

FOR IPTV ONLY PLAN  PROVISIONING OF BROADBAND IS NOT REQUIRED.

MTNL will provide CPE & perform the required configuration. However, in case of CPE provided by customer himself, he has to ensure that the CPE provided by him has one free Ethernet Port & provision of QoS Parameters. Also customer has to ensure that condition stated in Clause (ii) is met.

*while testing your line from exchange to your home, if found that the length of line exceeds 3000 meters and signal attenuation is more than 30 db, then IPTV cant be installed at your home. In such a case you will be informed over phone.This testing will be conducted free of cost*

IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS:
For those opting for IPTV, broadband speed (both download & upload) will be restricted to 256Kbps only.

 For smooth working of IPTV, it is necessary that telephone line must be directly terminated on the splitter without any telephone connection before it.
