EXPOSURE
TO RADIO FREQUENCY SIGNAL
|
|
Dolphin’s
GSM cellular mobile network supports a number of features and
supplementary services. Before using the mobile phone for the
efficient and safe operations, please ensure the design of your
phone satisfies the following standards when used normally.
|
|
|
Your
mobile phone is a power radio transmitter and receiver. When
it is ON, it sends out Radio Frequency (RF) signals.
|
|
|
European
and International agencies have set standards and
recommendations for the protection of the public from exposure
to RF electromagnetic energy. These standards are based on an
extensive scientific view of over 120 countries, engineers and
physicians from various universities and government health
agencies.
|
|
|
The
health industry manufacturer recommendation is that a minimum
separation of 6” (six inches) be maintained between the
mobile phone and a pacemaker to avoid potential interference
with the pacemaker. Hence ALWAYS keep it at more than 6”
(six inches) away from the pacemaker when it is turned ON, and
do not carry it in a breast pocket.

ADDED SERVICES
Voice Mail Service (VMS)
Time to break free!
At MTNL, we believe that you should get the best out of everything.
That’s why we strive to make your life real cool and easy. No
matter where you whisk, you are still contactable from anywhere.
Even if you don’t take your call. That’s right Dolphin offers
you Voice Mail, a private secretary who listens to your incoming
calls and stores the messages left by the caller so that you can
call them back later.
|
|
Calling Line Identification Presentation (CLIP)
|
|
Know
your caller!
Dolphin
gives you the freedom to choose
between accepting or
rejecting an incoming call. The
CLIP service shows the caller’s number on the LCD screen before
you take the call. This service is available free of cost. No
activity is required to be done on your cell-phone, as this service
is provided by the Network.

Call
Hold
Connectivity at will!
Howzatt! You can take a break between the call and connect later. In
other words, you now have the freedom to hold your talk and continue
the communication without disconnecting. The service is provided by
default to all subscribers and with no subscription charge.
Call Waiting
You are never out of touch!
Another free-of-cost service, this alerts you of another incoming
call on your mobile while you are already in conversation. It allows
you to take another call keeping the initial caller on hold. So,
even if you are talking on your cell & somebody else calls up,
you can answer, alternatively reject or ignore the incoming call
without even disconnecting the ongoing call.
Call Conference
Conferencing made easy!
Opportunity comes only once! This maxim backs the Conference Call
facility. And that’s why, actually, you can speak to two parties
simultaneously. What’s more, you can now join a held call with an
active call into a 3-way conference from anywhere at anytime. So
that you don’t miss a golden chance and wrap up a contact,
perhaps!
Short
Message Service (SMS)
Communicate in writing!
Don’t want to talk? You can type down the message and send it to
any mobile. The messages can be of 160-character length. The
system sends the confirmation about the delivery of the message to
the sender as soon as the message is delivered. If the called number
is busy or out of coverage area, the system periodically monitors
the status of the called number and sends backs the message as soon
as it becomes active.
Call
forwarding /Divert Facility
Take your calls where you want!
A free service, Call Forwarding helps you transfer the incoming
call to your cellphone onto any other MSISDN cellphone, even your
LANDLINE.
The facility
can be used to
|
|
Divert
all I/C calls unconditionally.
|
|
|
Divert
I/C voice call whenever your phone is unavailable in
out of
service area, busy, and not reachable or not
answered.
|
|
|
Divert
incoming fax/data calls.
|
|
To activate these
features, you just need to be within the coverage area and activate the
call divert settings from your phone. After selecting any of the call
divert options there will be a short delay, while the phone asks the
network for the current settings. Also refer to your Mobile Phone User
Guide for activating this facility on your phone.
Call
Forwarding on Mobile Subscriber Busy

same time!
When you are busy talking on your mobile and you get another call, you can
route it to another MSISDN mobile. The other mobile MSISDN subscriber will
be notified
