General Services

In General Services, the subscriber can locate himself, and then look for other point of interests like ATMs, Airports, Cinemas, etc. And all this just through SMS ! (Service also offered on WAP and WEB.)

Find Me

The “Find Me” is a value added service for mobile subscribers. This will help mobile users to find the geographical location of the current location. This is a subscription based service, mobile user has to avail this service by talking to the operator

The following is syntax to send a request to find the current location.

FDM <response type>

FDM : Key word for Find Me request.

<response type> : This is an optional value while sending a request. The valid values for this are ‘s’ and ‘m’. Value ‘s’ is for receiving response through SMS. Value ‘m’ is for receiving the response through MMS. The default value treated for this is 's', i.e. system will send response as SMS

Example

Assume that user’s mobile number is 9449629999 then the location information is sent to this number for the following requests.

• FDM ----- The response for this request will be SMS.
• FDM s ----- The response for this request will be SMS.
• FDM m ----- The response for this request will be MMS.

Find Friend

• FDF <friends mobile number> <response type>

• FDF <friends mobile number> <response type>  CW <code word> <friends mobile number> : friends mobile number (mandatory).

  <response type> : response type as 's' or 'm' for SMS or MMS response. Response type is optional and default is 's', SMS response.

  <code word> : mandatory only if friends privacy is set to code word based authentication. code
  word should be prefixed by 'CW'

Find My Buddy

IFMB <buddy’s mobile number> <response type>

<buddy’s mobile number> : buddy’s mobile number (mandatory) to whom you need to send your location information.

<response type>: response type as 's' or 'm' for SMS or MMS response. Response type is optional and default is 's', SMS response.

Find Me Periodic

FDMP <start time > <end time > <interval > <response type >

<start time>: Tracking start time. The format is YYYYMMDDHHMM.

<stop time>: Tracking stop time. The format is YYYYMMDDHHMM.

<interval>: Specifies the interval. Location response is sent for each interval after the start time. Format is DDHHMMSS

<response type>: response type as 's' or 'm' for SMS or MMS response. Response type is optional and default is 's', SMS response.

NOTE: start time must be greater than the current time and must be less than the stop time.

Find Me Periodic Stop

FDMPS Find Me periodic stop, stops the find me periodic request which is already initiated.

Find PoI

FDP <poi type> <range in meters> <response type>

<poi type> : specfiy the point of interest like park, cinema, etc..

<range in meters>: optional. Specfies the search range. Default is 5000mts.

<response type>: response type as 's' or 'm' for SMS or MMS response. Response type is optional and default is 's',SMS response

In CSS and navigation services, the customer can look for places sites worth seeing and find assistance in terms of distance and direction for navigation. The service is especially designed for city tourists.

<poi type>: specify the point of interest like park, cinema, museum, etc.

<response type>: response type as 's' or 'm' for SMS or MMS response. Response type is optional and default is 's',SMS response.

<target msisdn> : MSISDN whose location information is required.

<target msisdn>: MSISDN whose location information is required.

NOTE:Each word in poi name should be sepertaed by '_' (underscore).

<target fleet MSISDN> : mobile number of the fleet whose location information is required.

<response type>: response type as 's' or 'm' for SMS or MMS response. Response type is optional and default is 's', SMS response.

Fleet Periodic Stop

FLTPS <target fleet msisdn>

<target asset msisdn>: MSISDN of the target asset whose previous Fleet Periodic request needs to be stopped.

Fleet Multi

FLTM<target fleet msisdn> <response type>

<target fleets MSISDN's>: mobile numbers of the fleets whose location informations is required. Multiple MSISDN's should be seperated by a comma.

<response type>: response type as 's' or 'm' for SMS or MMS response. Response type is optional and default is 's', SMS response.

Fleet All

FLTALL<response type>

<response type>: response type as 's' or 'm' for SMS or MMS response. Response type is optional and default is 's', SMS response.

NOTE:This service give the location info of all the fleet MSISDN under requestor (manager).

Fleet task Status

FTS <task id> <message>

<task id>: The same id got in the fleet task request from fleet manager.

<mesasage>: Text describing the status of the previously received task.

Fleet Group

FLTGRP<group name> <response type>

<group name>: name of the group (containing one or more fleet msisdn). Fleet managers should form the groups.

<response type>: response type as 's' or 'm' for sms or mms response. Response type is optional and default is 's', smsresponse

Asset individual

ASTI<target asset MSIDN> <response type>

<target asset MSISDN>: mobile number of the asset whose location information is required.

<response type>: response type as 's' or 'm' for SMS or MMS response. Response type is optional and default is 's', SMS response

Asset Multi

ASTM<target assets MSIDN> <response type>

<target asset MSISDN>: mobile number of the asset whose location information is required.MSIDN's should be separated by a comma.

<response type>: response type as 's' or 'm' for SMS or MMS response. Response type is optional and default is 's', SMS response.

NOTE:This service gives the location info of the entire asset MSISDN under requestor (manager).

<task id> : same id got in the asset task request from asset manager
